Justin Shook, Founder of Shook Ideas, is pleased to announce the arrival of a new type of 3D printing company to downtown Boise, Idaho.
The mission at Shook Ideas is simple: “Leverage professional design and 3D printing to disrupt the product development process and deliver inspirational and ingenious products at an unprecedented value for our clients”.
Put in another way, you go to Shook Ideas with an idea, sketch, or drawing, and they make it a reality for a fraction of what it would cost just a few short years ago.
“We use 3D printing to compress the development process into a few days or weeks rather than several months”, says Justin Shook.
“Time is the most valuable resource. And, we save a lot of time for our customers by doing the designing, 3D printing, and prototyping all in the same office. We are able to deliver real parts and prototypes to our customers, made out of engineering grade materials. After the customer is happy with the form and function of the prototype, we offer turn-key USA manufacturing solutions to start up or expand our clients’ businesses.”
Over the last year, Shook Ideas has helped over a hundred customers with their various needs within the development process. These services include, but are not limited to:
- Professional 2D/3D CAD drawings
- Photorealistic 3D Renderings
- Affordable 3D printing services
- Limited Run Production
- Brokered Mass Manufacturing Services
Justin graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Idaho. He’s also a former lead product engineer with John Deere where he gained invaluable experience in enterprise CAD design, product development, and world class manufacturing. Justin left his job after 4 years to start his own 3D printing company which he has operated since 2015.
Shook Ideas’ current focus is on building the local technology scene in Boise by helping established businesses and start-ups build amazing products. They are currently accepting new clients.
